‘A Hamilton man has been charged after police say he threw a bottle of white paint at the Hamilton Jewish Federation building in what investigators are treating as a hate-related incident.
Hamilton police say it happened on July 19, when a person threw a bottle containing white paint at the organization’s building. The paint splattered across the overhead signage and main entrance.
The Hamilton Police Hate Crime Unit led the investigation. Police announced Thursday that a 51-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested and charged with one count of mischief under $5,000.’
