Sergio R. Karas, B.A., J.D. is a Canadian immigration lawyer and Certified Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law by the Law Society of Ontario. He has extensive expertise and experience in Canadian immigration law and policy, and has contributed extensively to Canadian and international discourse and policy on matters pertaining immigration law and Canada-US border issues, as well as antisemitism and security concerns. He is co-chair of the ABA International Law Section Immigration and Naturalization Committee, past chair of the Ontario Bar Association Citizenship and Immigration Section, past chair of the International Bar Association Immigration and Nationality Committee, and a fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He was a member of the Board of Directors of JIAS (Jewish Immigrant Aid Services) in Toronto for ten years.
