Ram Ozeri is the founder and managing director of the Jerusalem Biennale, though he originally studied and worked as an economist before shifting careers and signing up to the Fine Arts department of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. A few years later, Ozeri established the Jerusalem Biennale, a platform dedicated to Contemporary Jewish Art, initiating more than a hundred exhibitions, mostly in Jerusalem but also in NYC, LA, Miami, San Diego and Tel Aviv. The Biennale is not just about displaying art, it is about platforming contemporary art that explores Jewish and Israeli identity, thought, and experience.
