Oleg Brodt is a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and the head of Research & Development and Chief Innovation Officer at Cyber@Ben Gurion University, which is responsible for cybersecurity-related research at BGU. His expertise is in security in Israel more broadly, but specifically in cybersecurity. He has a legal background which saw him acting as an attorney to various national and international investors, start-ups, and Hi-Tech companies prior to his work at BGU. He also has previous leadership experience in Hi-Tech companies, and trained and served in an elite IDF Hi-tech unit, which no doubt informs his current work at the intersection of technology and security.
