Lawyer and human rights activist, Kaveh Shahrooz is a former senior policy advisor on human rights to Global Affairs Canada, a member of the Iranian Justice Collective, and a Senior Fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute's Centre for Advancing Canada’s Interests Abroad. His expertise spans areas of human rights matters and international affairs, with a particular focus on the Islamic Republic of Iran and its human rights concerns and upholding democratic values in North America.
