Professor Chaim Hames is a history professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), but his expertise expands beyond medieval history. He continues to research, write, and teach about the history of religions, particularly medieval inter-religious interactions between Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, and more specifically Christian-Jewish relations. He also writes and comments on Judaism in contemporary Israel.
